the Advanced Toastmasters designation and
being named to “Who’s Who Among America's
Teachers” sets Patricia apart from her colleagues.
An inspirational speaker, Patricia has contributed to the development
of successful women for many years. Patricia
is an active
member of ASBA,
the Arizona Small Business Association, which
recognized her as an Outstanding
Workshop Presenter at
their annual awards dinner. She is also a
member of the Speaker’s and Author’s
Roundtable and the Home
Based Business Council, both affiliates
of ASBA. Patricia
L. Brooks Seminars, LLC, features
topics in Human Relations and Marketing by
offering Patricia’s business
expertise for keynotes and workshops. Her
mission is to enhance the spirit of the client’s organization.
Patricia
has been a university faculty associate
for over ten years and is currently an associate faculty
member for Arizona State University at the Polytechnic campus, East College teaching
undergraduate Principles of Marketing in the Business
Administration Department and is a featured speaker for the ASU Wellness Program, recently speaking on The Journey from Grief to Gratitude, which features her book Gifts of Sisterhood. She is a member of the ASU Speaker’s Bureau under both Marketing and Organizational Management. She is also a returning
speaker for the ASU–Downtown Campus “Brown
Bag” Lunch Series.
Patricia is the president and founder
of the Scottsdale Society of
Women Writers, as well as a member of the Phoenix
Writers Club and the Arizona Authors Association.
She is also a member of the Arizona Book Publishing
Association with Brooks Goldmann Publishing.
Although Patricia has resided in Arizona for almost 30
years, her heart remains in the Upper Peninsula
of Michigan—the setting for Gifts
of Sisterhood. She has operated her own business since 1996.
Patricia began writing her first “memoir” by keeping a diary
as a young girl and continued throughout her
life to keep reflective journals. She has published
articles, written short stories and a career
of seminar presentations and edited university
curriculum. She currently makes her home in Scottsdale,
Arizona.
